Mr. Stroker is a Managing Director and Chairman within Ares Wealth Management Solutions, which oversees Ares' client management activities in the global wealth channel. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, he was Chief Executive Officer at Black Creek Capital Markets, where he oversaw the firm's capital raising efforts and strategy to better service financial advisors and expand distribution channels. Previously, he was a Senior Partner at Red Rock Strategic Partners, a business strategy consulting firm for wealth managers, where he consulted with financial advisors and wealth management firms. In addition, Mr. Stroker was a Regional Director at R.W. Baird, where he oversaw Baird's wealth management offices in the Midwest and Rocky Mountains. Mr. Stroker spent over 25 years at Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley, where he held a variety of positions including Head of Professional Development, Financial Advisor, Branch Manager, Complex Director and Regional Director. Currently, Mr. Stroker serves on the board of directors for Western Golf Association. Mr. Stroker holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois in Economics and Finance and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
