Ms. Peard is a Principal in the Ares Compliance Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Ms. Peard was a Senior Compliance Director at Allianz Real Estate of America (a PIMCO company), where she helped develop and oversee the firm's compliance department. Previously, Ms. Peard was a Compliance Officer at PIMCO, where she focused on alternative investment products, regulatory advocacy, new regulation implementation, conflicts management as well as policy drafting and oversight. Ms. Peard is a member of the State Bars of California and Massachusetts. Ms. Peard holds a B.A. in English and an M.A., with distinction, in Environmental Education from California State University, San Bernardino. She also holds an L.L.M. (Executive), with distinction, from Georgetown Law Center in Securities and Financial Regulation and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School.
