Mark Switzer

Mr. Switzer is a Principal in the Ares Finance and Accounting Department. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. Switzer was Head of Fund Accounting, Infrastructure Debt at AMP Capital, where he was responsible for the operational and fund accounting aspect of the infrastructure debt funds. This included oversight of key support functions such as investment finance, accounting, compliance, legal, tax, debt advisory, performance reporting and client reporting and establishing and management of key stakeholder relationships with internal management and third-party service providers. Mr. Switzer has held various fund accounting roles in his 15 years at AMP Capital across the fund advice (statutory reporting), real estate, infrastructure equity, and infrastructure debt departments. Mr. Switzer holds a B.Acc. from the University of Technology, Sydney in Accounting and Finance. Mr. Switzer is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
