Karen Yung

Ms. Yung is a Principal in the Ares Compliance Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2020, Ms. Yung was a Director, Compliance at SSG Group, where she focused on overseeing the compliance functions at SSG, including regulatory filings, compliance matters and internal control monitoring. Ms. Yung was a Director of the Investment Team before transferring to the Compliance function. Previously, Ms. Yung was an Investment Analyst for the Greater China team at ADM Capital, where she focused on sourcing, analysis, due diligence, negotiation, execution and ongoing management. Ms. Yung began her career with KPMG Hong Kong as an External Auditor, principally servicing financial institution clients. Ms. Yung holds a B.B.A. in Professional Accountancy and an M.B.A. in Finance and Chinese Business from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ms. Yung is an Associate Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and a CFA® charterholder.
