Mr. Khandelwal is a Vice President in the Ares Strategic Initiatives Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2019, Mr. Khandelwal was an Associate at NGP Energy Capital Management, where he focused on private equity investments in the natural resources sector. Previously, Mr. Khandelwal was a Corporate Finance Associate at Centennial Resource Development and an Investment Banking Analyst in the Natural Resources Group at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Khandelwal holds a B.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business in Business Honors and an M.B.A, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
