Mr. Oremland is Head of Institutional Business Development for North America at Ares Management.  He joined Ares in 2010 from ING Investment Management where he was Head of Consultant Relations responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with institutional investment consultants.  He also served on ING’s global business development committee formulating strategic policy.  Prior to ING, Mr. Oremland was with Cowen Asset Management from 1990 to 1997 where he served most recently as Director of Marketing and Client Service.  Prior to Cowen, Mr. Oremland was with Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Oremland graduated from Rutgers College with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration.
