Business Development - Asia

Mr. Kim leads Business Development focused on Asia for Ares Management. Mr. Kim joined Ares in 2009 from JP Morgan / Bear Stearns where he served as Vice President / Director of Global Structured Syndication and was responsible for originating, structuring and marketing various types of alternative investment and structured credit products to Asia ex-Japan investor clients. Prior to JP Morgan / Bear Stearns, Mr. Kim was with Merrill Lynch where he served as Vice President of Global Structured Credit Products in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Mr. Kim began his career as an Investment Analyst at Samsung Life Insurance Company.

Mr. Kim graduated from Korea University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
